Ambassadors East Welcomes New Property Manager
As of today, February 10, 2014, Ambassadors East has a new property manager. Basil Aiello has replaced manager Jean Le Grys and will be working with Christina Arlotta in the AE office.
Mr. Aiello comes to us with an impressive number of years of professional experience in his field. He has served as property manager for both Braemer Isle and the Parker Highland here in Highland Beach. His last manager position was with the Wittington Condominium Apartments in Pompano Beach. His prior experience includes Facilities Manager for the New York City Transit Authority and owner of Aiello and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning Company.
Basil is an ex-Marine having served in Vietnam in the late 60's. He also has a 1st Degree Black Belt in Karate. One never knows, this experience might come in handy at AE someday. ;>)
Members of the Board of Directors who interviewed Basil agreed that he displayed excellent personal communication skills as well as the background and experience needed to manage this property we call our home.
Though he will most likely be very busy this week, we encourage our owners to stop by the office and meet and talk with Mr. Aiello (Basil) when you can.

Multi-Million Dollar Renovation in Progress for "Holiday Inn", Highland Beach
Now You See It
Now You Don't!
That's right. The Holiday Inn on A1A in Highland Beach is no more and the new name, of all things is The Delray Sands Resort on Highland Beach. Read all about how this transpired in the newest issue of the COASTAL STAR, HERE. We think this is a good thing for the neighborhood and will increase values, but, what the article does not reveal is that if you want to stop in with friends for Happy Hour or a glass of wine, it will now cost you $4.00 to park in the hotel parking lot. Also, the lot on the waterway across the street is reserved for personnel. Renovations are still in progress. The rooms facing the ocean are completed (see a sample HERE). The common rooms including indoor and outdoor dining rooms and bar area will be done most likely this summer.
