Special Assessment for Completion of Concrete Project

As a result of the Board of Directors meeting held on Wednesday, December 7, all unit owners will receive this week a letter regarding assessments for the ongoing concrete project.  Over the years, our buildings, situated directly on the ocean, have experienced substantial structural damage which could not be easily discovered during the initial inspection by the engineers in March. As work progressed this damage which could in some cases could be potentially dangerous to our residents was revealed as the buildings were inspected in depth. Much of the unseen damage involved the horizontal concrete "eyebrows" which transverse the buildings on the exterior between each floor. This week a letter was sent to all unit owners about the approval by the BOD on August 10, 2016 of  a Supplemental Special Assessment in order to complete the ongoing work of the Concrete Restoration and Painting Project. (see letter below). If you did not receive a letter or your letter did not contain the necessary coupons and envelopes please contact Christina in the office ASAP
(561-278-4148).

TAN will publish in the next few days updated pictures of the progress of this project.  The board reports that the contractors are still a little ahead of schedule. Thank you.

Today the above notice was left at the door of each possibly affected unit in Buildings 1, 2 and 3. Tomorrow, March 22nd the units will be visited by the named individuals to determine their final status regarding unit intrusion.

A New Look For Ambassadors East

When our snowbird friends return again to their winter home in 2017, these are the buildings they should look for at 3215, 3221 and 3301 S Ocean Blvd.!  Yep,  these are our new paint colors.  After reviewing a number of color combinations presented by designers from the Sherwin Williams and  Benjamin Moore Companies, the board voted for this one. The darker brown is in the taupe family, the eyebrows and other trim are a lighter taupe and the main part of the buildings will be a nice bright off-white. Most residents are pleased with the choice.
